Chakra Healing Meditation

There are many Chakras in our body out of which there are seven main Chakras. These Chakras are energy swirling vortexes in our body which are located at specific points in our body. These energy swirling vortexes resemble the spinning wheels and hence they are called as Chakras. Each of these chakras controls a specific body organ and these Chakras are governed by feelings, thoughts, expressions and senses. All the negative thoughts, negative incidents that overpower our thoughts, affects our body or which cause an emotional turmoil leads to blocking of the chakra related to that specific problem.

Thus, in order to live an emotionally, physically and mentally fit life healing your chakras is very important. The best way to unblock the blocked chakras is through the Chakra healing meditation.

Chakra Meditation or the chakra clearing meditation involves focusing and channelizing your attention on each of the Chakras in order to stimulate and unblock the blocked chakras. Chakra cleansing meditation must be carried out in a quiet space where you will be able to focus your attention and meditate on the specific chakra. Meditation is a process that makes the mind calm and helps balance the emotion while relaxing the body. Let us look at how to meditate on each of these seven chakras with the help of chakra alignment meditation also known as the Chakra Healing Meditation.

The Muladhara Chakra is located at the end of the spinal column at the base. This Chakra governs the skeletal system, feet, knees, pelvis, legs, hips and the excretory system. Our body consciousness resides in the Root (Muladhara) Chakra.

In order to meditate over the Root Chaka sit with your legs folded on the ground in a peaceful, quiet place. Now close your eyes, place your hands straight on the knees and let the tips of your index fingers and thumb touch each other. Now close your eyes and visualize the Root Chakra and its colour and concentrate on the spot that is between the anus and the genitals and chant ‘LAM’ for several minutes until you feel relaxed and feel the energy being released.
